Who are we?

We have been heavily involved in many Strength and Conditioning gyms for more than a decade. We have both completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, after which Tom went on to complete a Master of Secondary Teaching, while Kayla completed a Master of Physiotherapy. 

Tom has worked as a coach in multiple gym spaces for more than 10 years, completing his Certificate III/IV in Fitness and Australian Weightlifting Federation Level 1 qualification. 

Kayla has years of experience teaching group classes as a Physiotherapist and managing 1:1 rehabilitation with clients across the lifespan. 

It has been a long-standing dream of ours to create our own space and community, bringing like-minded people together to enjoy the lifelong journey of fitness. It is an absolute honour for us to be able to bring our knowledge and experience back to Kayla’s hometown! 

What to expect from your classes:

Each session is specifically programmed to fit within a larger structured training cycle, following the principles of progressive overload to promote improvement in both your strength and fitness.

A class will typically consist of a strength piece or skill sequence, followed by a metabolic conditioning workout (the fancy way of saying “get the heart rate up and get a sweat on”!). We both have a wealth of knowledge and experience in modifying sessions to suit injury and mobility limitations, whilst also offering progressions for those wishing to challenge themselves. It is our belief that no matter who you are, a good coach should be able to tailor the session to suit your needs and help you achieve your goals.
